What in the world is going on in Hennepin County? First they convict a cop of murder, Derek Chauvin, without proving that he actually caused the death of George Floyd, and now this. The best way for a local PD to tamp down serious, and non-serious, crime is aggressive traffic enforcement. Show me a town that takes traffic offenses seriously and I’ll show you a safe community.
What these activists are doing in the name of “social justice” hurts everyone, especially the poor who have no choice other than to depend on the police for their safety. The number one mission of a prosecutor is to enhance public safety and this does the opposite.
You folks in Minnesota, especially in Minneapolis, need to give up the “Minnesota Nice” nonsense and demand accountability from your elected officials before another great American city falls into ruin.

I agree! The faux trial of Derek Chauvin helped explain the narrative that a loud minority of activists and pro-criminal politicians want.
