House Judiciary Committee Hearing on Policing Practices | C-SPAN.org

The House Judiciary Committee holds a hearing on the oversight of policing practices. This is an very interesting and telling hearing. This was a far left agenda on policing. Listen to all the legislative bills that the legislature is planning to introduce on policing. It’s crazy. Why is new FEDERAL legislation needed for local policing? I think the federal government is overreaching. It will be a nightmare for policing if the legislative bills proposed pass. I don’t see a need for the federal government to interfere with local policing.

D.C. Police Release Long-Delayed Stop-And-Frisk Data, Showing Racial Disparities In Stops | WAMU

Long-awaited data on police stops shows that 70% of those stopped by D.C. police are African American, but Chief Peter Newsham says it’s too early to draw conclusions on police practices.
